QCPD: Enzo Pastor's wife Dalia now a suspect for murder
Enzo Pastor's wife Dalia now being considered as possible suspect after the police arrest two prime suspects for his murder.
At a press conference held by the Quezon City Police District this afternoon, authorities briefed the media regarding the investigation and subsequent arrests made in connection to the murder of race car driver Ferdinand 'Enzo' Pastor in June.
As reported earlier, the gunman was a police officer: PO2 Edgar Angel of the Pasay City Police. He was arrested in an anti-drug operation, but was soon discovered to have a link to the murder of Pastor via intelligence gathered by the PNP.
After being interrogated by investigators, P02 Ibanez confessed that he was indeed hired for PhP 100,000 by the mastermind of the crime: a businessman named Domingo 'Sandy' De Guzman III.
De Guzman is the owner of Unique Autowerkes, a custom auto shop in Muntinlupa City. According to the joint investigation by authorities, De Guzman had a relationship with Dalia Guerrero-Pastor, the wife of Enzo Pastor. The relationship was tagged as the primary motive behind the murder.
Furthermore, the QCPD revealed in the press conference that they are now considering Dalia Guerrero-Pastor as a suspect as well in the investigation. The QCPD also said that they are now doing follow up operations to locate her.
Insider reports point to the use of mobile phone call logs to track down the links between the arrested suspects, but this information has yet to be confirmed.
De Guzman has reportedly denied knowledge of both the alleged gunman and Pastor's wife. But authorities have refuted this by stating that his ex-wife is the godmother of Angel's youngest child.
