Team Satin Silver wins City Media Challenge

City Media Challenge 2002 Season Champions Team Satin Silver, composed of Kap Aguila (Philippine Star), Ferdie Baja (dzEC), Lester Dizon (Gadgets Magazine) and Jay Taruc (GMA-7), as well as Best Driver awardee Dodjie Aguila (Today) went home with the most loot as the City Media Challenge held its Awarding Ceremonies at the Sidebar Ortigas last November 14, 2002 to culminate a very successful season.
This season's runners-up was Team Passion Orange (2nd place) composed of Dodjie Aguila, Angelo Almonte (dzMM), Jude Crisostomo (Dragracingpinoy.com) and Benj Ngo (Autoindustriya.com). Third placers was Team Clover Green composed Brent Co (Autoindustriya.com), James Deakin (C! Magazine) & Bernard De Lara (Manila Bulletin/Tempo).
Even Participants were awarded medals of merit as well as certificates of participation, while the winners received cash prizes, trophies, medals and other items from the sponsors. After the awarding ceremonies, a very unconventional but fun-filled raffle was held where everyone went home with premium items from sponsors Honda Cars, Caltex and Michelin.
Leading the contingent from Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. was their President & General Manager Mitsunari Takano & Deputy Head for Marketing Arnel Doria, while the Caltex group was headed by Jun Masilang, National Sales Manager for Lubricants and Jet Vicencio, South Luzon Reseller District Manager for Lubricants.
The fifth season of the City Media Challenge is presented by Honda Cars Philippines. Official fuel is Caltex Vortex while the official lubricant is Caltex Havoline. The official tires are courtesy of Michelin thru its distributor, Tiarra Commercial and Industrial Corporation. Other sponsors include Nodalo's Trading and Aitech.
The City Media Challenge is organized by ADBM Resources, in partnership with Activity Asia Association and Roadwise Motoring School.
