Total fuels flag-off Vios Cup Season 4


Total Excellium fuels helps kick off the first leg of the Toyota Vios Cup held at Clark International Speedway. Apart from fueling the Vios Cup race cars, Total Excellium also helped drivers bring the spirit of Waku-Doki alive.

This year, participants felt new challenges as Total Excellium and Toyota promised to bring a more exciting season as part of Toyota’s global motorsports activities. Now officially being under Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR), Toyota’s special motorsports division, the Vios Cup along with TOTAL Excellium are rising to the occasion by elevating driver experience.

Sixty nine participants, including return celebrity drivers Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Fabio Ide, came to test their skills and battle it out on track. Joining the roster of the more seasoned celebrity drivers were first timers Aubrey Miles, Gretchen Ho, Ella Cruz, and Dominic Roque.

For the race results, during the first round of celebrity class, Fabio Ide enjoyed a smooth finish in first place, followed by Jasmine Curtis Smith in second and Dominic Roque in third. In the second round, the positions were reversed as Roque finished first, followed by Smith and Ide respectively.

In the first round of the promotional class, Don Vic Portugal came first, followed by Evelyn Coseteng and Arbie Jacinto. Meanwhile in the second round, Red Diwa secured first place followed by Roy Bunag and Arbie Jacinto respectively. As for the sporting class, Tonton Ramon snagged first place with Paul Lomax finishing second and Mark Sy in third. During the second round of the sporting class, Lord Seno finished first and was followed by Sean Velasco and Paul Henderson Perez, respectively.

Daniel Miranda dominated the super sporting class by placing first in both rounds. Allan Uy came to a close second along with Gerard Loy coming in third during the first round. In round two, Allan Uy once again finishes in second with Andres Calma coming in third.

Catch both Total Excellium and Toyota as they return once again at the second leg of the Vios Cup on June 10-11, 2017 at the Clark International Speedway.
