Like kbh said, I also religiously apply RainX on my glass magmula pa nung brand new ang auto.

I've been told that Rain-X and Rain Away are made by the same manufacturer, so either one should suffice.
...and we 'drive' our cars on the 'parkway' and 'park' our cars on the 'driveway'...

Hindi ata bro. I used Rain Away once when RainX ran out of stock. If I remember it right, Rain Away has a small "Turtle Wax" logo at the lower portion of the label.

It was difficult to wipe out haze from Rain Away.

Based on my experience Autogard's version of this product is much closer to RainX. Autogard also comes in yellow plastic bottle.

There's also this new product from Wurth that was offered to me by a salesman in Hans Tools when they ran out of RainX. This is a concentrate mixed in the wiper reservoir. The size of the container is a bit bigger than an AA-battery. Costs P800.00 so I didnt buy it.
Anyone tried this product already? Is the tag price "Wurth" it?  :)

Yup yun nga ata. I'm not sure about the P800 price. Matagal na yun e. But I think it was more than P150. Check ko ulit pag napadpad ako dun, malamang nga mali ako. Nonetheless I felt it was expensive for that tiny bottle.

Have you tried it already? Good ba? Downsides?

They use a 0.5cm thick carpet to rub the compound to the glass. Before rubbing pala they soak the carpet in water.

Napakahirap pala gawin!

Iba yung personal TLC  ;)

The windshield of my car always have oil like streaks everytime I use the wipers and it is especially irritating at night. I tried using windex to clean the glass and I already replaced the wiper blades but the problem remains. Will the rain-x solve the problem or the windshield needs to be detailed? Thanks in advance.

No. Rain x will not solve that. If the problem is not severe, changing wiper blades would help. But this is only a temporary solution. In my case, my cars windshield is more than severe. It took me 3 applications to clear all the grime, oil and rain spots. When your windshield is almost like new, just apply rain x for maintenance.

So I guess I have to go to a detailer...thanks.

I just had my windshield detailed last Saturday morning at Big Bert's Araneta and I am happy with the result.  For P250.00, it's a bang for the buck.

just mix some lime away and glass cleaner...it might take off those ugly rain spots...just be careful on your paint
