Thank you for your replies guys!

We trimmed down our choices:

RAV4 4x2
Forester XT
Santa Fe 4x2 CRDi

Our concern for the Forester now is the gas consumption and maintenance costs. Since it is relatively new in the market, hindi namin sure kung mahal parts.

Hindi type ni bossing yung Mazda 6! :( She prefers the new Civic 2.0.

On the other hand, sayang, ok din sana yung X-Trail but it's a bit aging already. By 2007, the current model will be around 4 years old na.

Anyway, will the new Camry be out soon? Sana similarly priced siya with the current models para swak pa rin sa budget.

Thanks again Ai dudes! :)

the forester is a great choice ! and its not new in the market it has been released here way before the older models etc etc my friend has on yung model before now and he said that it is VERY VERY reliable only broke down once minor pa ! remember na its still a japanese car yung subaru soo medyo reliabilty niya is still high compared to the americans  ;D

sabi nila that the camry would be released mga september daw but expect its price to be higher than the current ... pero if hindi kayo nagmamadali id wait for this .. pero if you need it now the forester and the santa fe is the choice na dpat pagpilian mo ... the rav4 4x2 or 4x4 is WAY overpriced ... and its too expensive talaga

The Forester's gas mileage will probably be the same as any other compact SUV in the market. The 2.5 turbo is not that thirsty.

I drive a somewhat modified 2.5 STI and I still get 5.5 km/liter. Thats with hataw na ha. So I would not be surprised if the FXT got around 7/li

i just drove the forester turbo knina ...... ITS  A BLAST TO DRIVE HEHEHEHHE sabi the consumption of this is about 7km/l daw its not that bad for a turbo car plus power to weight ratio din i guess

my xtrail gets about 6km/l tsaka mas mabigat kasi xtrail compared to the much more compact forester turbo ... :)

sulit tong car na to :)

Hey guys! im back! been gone for a long time!

car and suv.... mazda CX-7, im not sure if its available and if its under 2m. but that car is worth checking out.

Hi Guys!

I and my future wife are planning to get a new car early next year and with a lot of choices these days, we are not sure which one to pick.

Our criteria is as follows:

1. Budget: Below 2M
2. Type: Sedan or SUV (no sub-compact, van and pick-up)
3. Must be fuel efficient!
4. Can be used for everyday travel and out of town trips
5. Moderate maintenance costs
6. Safety features available (ABS and Airbags)
7. Towing capability is an advantage (for SUV)

Hope to hear from you guys soon! :)
