What do you do/use to split a signal coming from an RCA cable? Is an RCA y-connector (1 female to 2 male) recommended? What brand of RCA y-connector would be good to use? Would there be any effect at the output signal? And would there be any difference using a branded RCA y-conector and a DIY RCA y-connector?

for me i will go for the diy rca connectors .... the lesser the connectors the better ....
