that long?! i'm dead... with glaze as my only protection for the paint... the parking lot in my school will kill my car! tsk tsk...

it will affect the curing of the paint and will affect the gloss of the car. Most of the paints that we use are solvent based and we have to a lot time for it to slowly evaporate. applying Wax or any form of sealant on  the car will prevent this from happening.

Sir David, how about yung mga Sap/Dagta ng puno na natuyo sa paint. My car's paint has several spots on them na nung tinanggal ko yung Sap is meron naiwang marks na parang hindi lang sa external surface. I tried using scratch remover and even rubbing compound (turtle wax/red one) and followed-it-up with Meguire wax pero andun pa din.
Sagwa e, black pa naman paint ko. Any DIY tip para matanggal sya? Tnx

you may have to partially color sand the affected area with a fine grit sand paper (2000grit and above) to properly remove the spots. hovewer, prolonged exposure to the sap with cause permanent damage on the paint. likewise, you must be really careful in doing this coz you may risk doing more damage than solving the problem. i suggest that you try on a small portion first before doing the whole thing. but i guess before doing a diy solution, try to have it assessed first with a good detailer. they may be able to suggest a tamer approach than color sanding
