Yung ganito kaya? Paano tanggalin?

That is a sign of damaged rubber. There's no way you can remove those marks other than to change the moldings.

Ito ba yung may kasamang parang scotchbrite, dalaw kasi yun nakita isang watermark remover and glass restorer. Alin dun?

Yep.  That's the one. (Yung may scotchbrite)

I think the glass restorer is for buffing out minor scratches from your windshield.

Hmm... dunno.  Unlike the other products I've tried, Elevo was able to remove the water marks on my windshield with very little effort.  (And the instructions state that I have to wear gloves...pero I didn't.. hehehee...)  If the chemical is that strong, I don't know how it will react to metal.

Use a step two product (normally called a Glaze) to remove water marks from the paint. Follow with wax/sealant after to protect it.

thanks... i wash my car and wax every week so i dont know how i got that. should i use cleaner wax and try that first coz it doesn't really look too bad? coz thats gonna be a lot of work ;D

aids - when you say wax ano specifically yung ginagamit mo? Madami kasi klase wax. Pero tama sinabi ni Conan, use Step 2 then sealant. I suggest Mothers Step 2, then Step 3 then Reflections :) matrabaho nga lang pero sulit naman.

Ako what I usually do is EO Nano after wash then Reflections. Since medyo bago pa yung car I don't go through the 3 step detailing. Nano removes swirl marks and light scratches tapos Reflections pang top coat. Pero weekly ko ginagawa kasi nag kaka water marks pa din...lalu na pag naiwanan ng ulan.

eric- naku...pass muna ako sa Elevo. I'll try the Mag and Aluminum Polish ng Mothers.

jeyps11_c - Yeah.  Mag Mag & Aluminum Polish ka na lang.  Much safer.  After you get the water marks out, you can also apply sealant on your mags to help protect it from future water marks.

i use nanowax also. wax doesn't really remove scratches they just fill them in and it comes back after a few washes...

Madali lang gamitin. pero do wear a glove.

I've tried 3m Rubbing compund which comes in sachets. kelangan ng elbow grease and nabawasan lang ng konti ung water marks. Siguro if I continue to do it for the next few matatanggal din. Pero I want to try that ELEVO. sana gumana..

Gagana yan! :)
I've already ELEVO'ed 4 windshields.  I even demo'ed ELEVO on my officemate's heavily calcified windshield.  It was able to remove those nasty watermarks without needing much elbow grease.  PERO beware lang --- Elevo is potent!  During my "office demo" -- siempre I didn't wear any gloves.  The day after, the skin between my fingers were all dried up and itchy.

ALSO -- remember.  It's one thing to remove watermarks... and another thing to prevent them from coming back.
Once you've removed those watermarks, consider applying a rain repellent (e.g. Glass Science, Rain-X, Glaco, Waxco, Elevo).  These help reduce the formation of watermarks (at least for me it does. :) )
