I was having my car detailed at ValuGard when I saw a big group of Galants in the parking lot across. I wanted to pass by but the parking lot looked absolutely full.

the parking lot was kind of full - of galants.  ;D
you are most welcome to drop by.  :)

some of the members were not able to attend, they were either having their setup upgraded or sorted out.

hungryalien,
thanks for letting me try your  short throw shifter. i just needed to compare my dyi short throw shifter with your branded one. - (that didn't sound right  ;D hehehe!)

hi guys,
galant driver here, 1994 VR V6 6A12

hey i posted a question
http://www.autoindustriya.com/yabbse/index.php?board=4;action=display;threadid=18308

I'm just looking for some tips and info regarding the car. I like the speed but I'm not really planning on setting up the car for racing, i just want to "maintain" it and make it more efficient. Basically what I mean by "maintain" is when a part needs to be replaced as much as possible I want to replace it with a performance part. And I've been having a hard time looking for parts, performance or non.
Also I'd like to know how the car should be tuned-up. Do I need to take it to a goodyear servitek or to mitsubishi? so that they can use the computerized tune up tools or is a regular tune up sufficient?
I also heard somewhere that platinum spark plugs aren't really the best sparkplugs for the galant...?

Also I got a few scratches. Whats a good place to have it fixed? my color is the grayish bluish one

hungryalien

if you plan to keep it "stock", just use everything stock.. they are fine as they are.

as for regular tune-up, its just timing and change of plugs. unless your "check-engine" light is on, then you must go to mistubishi casa to have it dignosed.

the stock NGK plugs are sufficient enough. also stock hi-tension cables are more than enough. unless you have modified your ignition system.

you can check out local mitsu user forums like www.mymistuph.com for more related posts..
