MTX amp for seps?

Are MTX amps good for seps, like the Thunder 2160? Or are they better used in bridged mono mode? its 80w rms x 2.

MTX Amps are generally underrated, but MTX is more known for subs. I couldn't find enough info on the net, specifically its THD, but then again those are only manufacturer claims. better to hear opinions too.
