60k is not bad actually. A sig sauer p226 plays around from $800 - $2000 depends on the type and class.

As for bullets, there are not much special bullets are made for the 9mm because the Philippine Gun Market are more focused on the .45 cal because it is the most commonly sold/owned handgun. What I have seen so far for the 9mm are: Mercury Tipped (poison effect), Multishot (shotgun effect), and the usual alternate "Tingga" (Silver, Teflon, Hollow..etc). If you are going to use it for warning shots or to just plain scare anyone, I would suggest you use those "No Basyo" ammo. It may be rare but if is the next best thing for Blanks (not made for public use or sale). If it is for self defense, get the Hollow Heads. It is basically the usual heads only with a wide hole on the middle, making it deal out more damage than the usual bullets. These are usually tipped with mercury/cyanide giving it an extra edge against living targets. Pure Stopping Power with an optional added "overkill" effect.

Yeah, unfortunately the Gun Ban will not be ending until next year (possibly by January). Kaya nga "galit na galit" yung mga may guns. ;D

It usually happens every election year. They implement the Gun Ban on January when the candidates formally starts campaigning and they end it 6 months after the election day. Which is usually around January of the following year.

Try the basement level of Makati Cinema Square near the basement parking. Dun, tabi-tabi ang mga gunstores. Ask nicely and haggle.  ;) My arms dealer also used to have a shop there, but now it turned into a sex store.  ;D

Warning shots are basically to give them a fair warning if a possible threat occurs. It should be enough to stop them dead on their tracks, or in certain cases just plain dead. Usually they either disperese (when in a group) or just walk away from it especially if "under-powered".
