I've been reading about this on US-based forums and I was wondering if someone's doing this service here. It's supposed to protect your paint job from minor nicks and dings.

is this the film that protects the whole car? I read an article on eurotuner where they "filmed" a VW Jetta, good protection for the paint and the it keeps the car having that new paintjob look. I just wonder how much it is.

diba SAVI and Ziebart (yung dating nasa buendia kanto South Superhighway, where the Makro stood now) offer the same kind of service before? i coat nila yung buong car.

pero downside is if nagasgas o na chip off siya, buong panel ang reapplication ata

No it's not the same. Ziebart doesn't cover your car with a plastic sheet they just apply a paint sealant like any car detailer can do.

i can refer you to a shop that does this. however they dont advice applying it to the whole car. ....imagine a whole car with a plactic cover hehehe normaly they just put it to areas that are very prone to scratches. i have seen them applied it on one of the black lamborghini murcielago running in the metro. if i'm not mistaken, they applied on half of the hood, headlights, portions of the fender and front bumper. though i have not seen the car again so i can't really tell if the product works

I'm really worried about the car developing scratches wherever they may occur. My daily drive right now has lots of scratches all over like the top end of the trunk. The door sill on the roof.

I noticed the porsche cayenne displayed at the recently held motorshow at WTC having this film applied at the the front part of the hood and some parts of the bumper and fender.

I'm not sure though if this is stock on all cayennes.

I think this is the same film you are talking about.

Another film protection. But it's too pricey. check the link.

So where is this shop? I'm interested in getting one for my car :)

I want to have my new Mini Cooper get this protection. Just this week, I saw scratches that maybe caused by stone bits while on the road and it bothers me.. So eah, I do want to know where I can find these services (car filming/protection)
