I'm going to have 1 set really soon and was thinking of what tire to use with these? brand, lapad/kapal/ etc etc...

ps size of mags is 17's

There was a Spoon FD Civic fetaured in Honda Tuning that has 215/40R17 tires. But I'd go for 215/45 because of our roads here in Manila and suburbs.

by the way, you'll need 5mm spacers in front to fit them over the brakes.

stock size is 215/45.

Ah, so hindi pala salpak? I guess the USDM SI then have different brakes.

TopSecretGold, Why not the EP3 Type R/Acura RSX Type S wheels?
...and we 'drive' our cars on the 'parkway' and 'park' our cars on the 'driveway'...

I have 215 x 50 x 17" on my '06 1.8L civic. You need to have
the exactly the same offset as with the stock mags. It can accommodate 225 I think, next time I change my tire will put a 225 x 50 tires.

if the car comes with brembos then malamang mahihirapan ka to fit the rims since iba offset ng rims (50+ na ata)

I have 215/50/17. No rubbing issues at maganda yung fit sa wheel well. Minimal lang yung gap ng fender sa tires.

Ultraman

I put 225/45 Potenzas on my 17" rims.  Perfect fit, excellent road grip.  No rubbing issues.
