hi po newbie po ako dito. i have a question regarding transfer of ownership. here's the scenario po. ung sasakyan po nakapangalan kay company A tpos po binili ni company B and then binili ko po and now im planning to sell it. niregister ko po cya ngaun pero nkapangalan pa rin kay company A. meron po akong xerox copy nung deed of sale and secretary certificate from company A to company B, meron din po akong original copy nung deed of sale from company B papunta skin chka xerox ng valid ID po nung may ari ng company B. mapaparegister po ba ng gustong bumili skin nung sasakyan sa name nya khit  xerox lng po ung deed of absolute sale chka secretary certificate ko from company A? really need the answer po. thanks po!

This post seems to be a little older so i would like to update and add a few more questions: kailangan ba talaga sa camp karingal mismo mag pa process nang PNP-HPG clearance? What if sa south nakatira sasadyain mo ba talaga camp karingal? i've heard sa kaibigan kong HPG na pwede daw sa mga office nang HPG na connected sa LTO branches, tama ba to?

Sa LTO naman kailangan ba talaga sa LTO office kung san previously (as per last registration) naka register yung car dapat dalhin para makakuha nang LTO clearance and for change name? Hindi ba centralized na sila? like in my case i'm from alabang tapos pupunta pa ko camp karingal then valenzuela last registration nung car, pupunta pa ko sa valenzuela para mag submit nang docs?

Patulong ka na lang sa LTO, when a company is closing, all assets must be accounted for and are closed. Legally, it's not your car if you don't have the secretary certificate and deed of sale. If you have these 2, then you can sell your car anytime even if it is still in the companys' name.

Check the "Promissory Note with Chattel Mortage Agreement with Receipt from Land Registration Authority is indicated there where the vehicle filed "Chattel Mortage". Sa municipality nka register doon po ipapacancel ung mortage kindly bring all documents ORIGINAL nd XEROX copies. 1. Deed of sale(notarized) xerox ID with sigature of the seller sometimes it different from the "Secretary certificate Signatories" kailangan din ng Xerox ID with signature ng "Secretay Certificate Signatories". two hours processed. depende sa municipality siguro kung madami nagtratransact. Bibigyan ka ng new receipt na nakapngalan sa new owner nd  ung dalawang documento ay tatakan ng Registry of Deeds.

To avail HPG certificate:
Go to nearest LTO office and ask them where is the nearest HPG satelite office to avail clearance certificate. its one day process but it release the certificate after one week. make sure to ask to HPG aid sa pagfill-up ng form. sa akin dapat dalawa clearance  "From previous Owner to Bank" then " From Bank to new owner"

To avail MVIR
go to LTO office that conduct motor vehicle inspection or go to LTO main at east ave make sure then meron TPL insurance kung wala kailangan magavail nd kailangan ung coverage niya hangang kung kailan mapapaso ang registration ng sasakyan. I advice huwag isabay ang transfer of ownership nd registration ng sasakyan. kung hindi pa pso ang registration hindi na kailangan ang Smoke Emmision Test.

to avail NEW OR/CR under ur name:
kindly check the previous OR/CR that registered in the name of previous owner " Field Office" where the vehicle registered. kung malapit ito sa inyo deretso na kau doon nd doon nu ifile ang transfer of ownership nd cancelation of ecumbered. sa akin NCR ang nakalagay. at kapag NCR hindi dito pwede magfile ng transfer. pumili kayo ng LTO office na gusto iprocess I suggest ung malapit sa inyo para walang masyadong hassle kung meron kulang na documento. Napili ko La Loma. nd doon ako nagfile. binigyan ako ng Request for Confirmation" then  i went to NCR office malapit sa Corner ng Quezon Ave nd Araneta Ave. sa NCR Field Office magbibigay sila ng confirmation which makukuha mo rin after one week. kung magtatanong kau na baka hindi na valid ang HPG clearance. kailangan talaga makakuha na kau ng confirmation request after maavail nu ang HPG certificate nad MVIR. babalik kau sa Field office then present all documents make sure dala nu lahat documento including original dahil ung original kukunin nila para sa file.magiisue sila ng new OR/CR under the name of new owner nd wala na word na Encumbered.

Guys! Need help. I was in LTO office earlier for my renewal of OR/CR, when the staff encoded the details we found out that my car was trasferred to another person last September 2015. They haven't process my renewal because it was not under my name. Howcome it was registered to someone that supposed to be mine??? How do things happen such as this.. Please help!
