Use MOTUL Multipower 15W50 Php 325/Liter. better kung mag engine clean k muna mataas na kasi odo ng car mo.  san b place mo???

MOTUL FOREVER

DTNS

get a 50W, API SL oil. 20W50 or 15W50 would do.

lightyear07

DTNS

I think Shell Helix 20W50 (the yellow one, not the red one) and Valvoline 15W50 are good choices for W50 oils.

The time na lumabas ang Lancer GLi '94 API SG pa ang recommended and highest rating pa noon. Although most manufacturers would agree that the latest api rating oil should be poured into the motor, high mileage motors may have different needs already compared to the newer cars. The thing with the latest API SM is so much of the anti-friction additives have been reduced already. Compliance with emissions law is the major consideration for this move. IF you'd also notice most of the High Mileage oils have more of these additives and has lower API ratings.

lalakas ka lang sa gas with the 50wt oils. i'd suggest a 10w40. it'll give you enough protection and it'll make the engine more fuel efficient.

marami naman mineral oils that will suit your budget.

I have been using Shell Helix Semi Synthetic (BLUE Container) for my late 93GLXi first owned ever since and the engine runs like new up to now. Change Oil Filter every change oil as well.

i changed my oil to mobil1 10w40. tanong lang kung ok ba ang 10w40 or should i use a 50weight?car is 20+ yrs old...average temp here goes from 85-95F(29-35C) and sometimes 100F up

also the only 50 weight oils that are easily accessible are mostly conventional oils. and the 100% synthetic ones are sold per quart w/c is a lot more expensive. and the car needs 6.87qts so kinda crazy to buy it per quart thats why i buy a 5qt jug.

so should i use a 50weight conventional or mobil1 10w40?

Suggestion ko lang na you should continue to use mobil Super S plus 10w-40. Since, it is already synthetic blend. It has a higher temperature limits compared to conventional oils. Mas fuel efficient pa. Pero na sayo na un kung gusto mo gumamit ng conventional oils.

Manga

just so you know that the superior M1 0W-30 did. Check the analysis.
