nice car!! I used to own a porsche 924s and an audi 5000s  from that era and am quite familiar with their mechanicals. get yourself a good bentley manual for it 'cause youll need it.

wow this is very good news. around what price range are most of the parts? are they quite near the price range of toyota's parts?

Im surprised by your statement. I used to get most parts from the dealer bec most were "dealer only" items.

i mean its pricier than toyota parts but simple maintenance parts are fairly cheap and usually autozone carries them. i just bought a clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder online and it cost me about $150.

best prices that i saw so far:
*timing belt and roller kit(Timing Belt, Balance Shaft Belt, Camshaft Belt Roller, Balance Shaft Tensioner, Balance Shaft Roller, Timing Belt Tensioner) is about $150 also..
*timing belt - $32oem
*motor mount - $55
*intake valve - $19ea
*exhaust valve - $35

it depends what the car needs. like the oil cooler is around $400 and oil pump is $600. water pump $100-200up. fuel pump $150up. just gotta shop around online stores and find the best price
