I think pinoyamg is based in the US. but I know there IS a 600hp Viper SRT10 here in Manila. the one brought in by CATS for the Marlboro promo. I think it's still for sale. (I saw it for sale in MB classified ads one time.  ::))
I am in the states..... how much did they list the viper for?
04 SL55 AMG (493hp)
02 C5 Z06 (405hp)
04 H2 (Big Red Stroller)
07 M5 (507hp)
07 LTZ Suburban (Great White Kid Mobile)
07 CR-V

wow! lowered price!

last time I saw the ad, it was selling for 8.5M.  ::)

Word is, dealer price would be around 7m... same as an M3. Not as upmarket as an M3 or as nice inside... but hell... infinitely more powerful. :D

P7M ain't bad for the current SRT10 Viper.  You can't buy anything faster at that price.  The M3 and Viper shouldn't even be sharing the same sentence.  The M3 is a great car but not in the league of the Viper.

Show that guy P6M and he'll probably give up the Viper.

It's funny...  The Ring used to be the domain of European makes...  Now, the fastest street-legal production cars that can go around it are American-- ZR1, ACR Viper and Caddy CTS-V (fastest time for a production sedan).

niky

Yup... that's true... the only cars with the potential to match the (non-ACR) Viper on track are the GT-R (rumor is 10m) and the Porsche GT2 (over that)...

It's about time Americans discovered the nurb... just a few years of testing there and it's really paid off in terms of sportscar development.

10m is too much for the gtr. the ones arriving soon will be available for way less than 8m.

Depends... maybe by the end of the year. Because the first round of models are going for $100,000 in the US (average dealer markup) and not the 70k sticker price.

There's already a couple of GT-Rs in the Philippines.  I just saw one last Friday and spoke to user.  Price is P7M.  Anyway, we're off-topic...  Back to the ACR Viper.

GTR prices just went up 10% here..... blamed on increase in cost of materials.  Sales are predicted to slow down, surplus will be available soon, dodge having their worst sales record in years and might concider killing the viper brand...... Hmmm gtr, acr, zr1.... nice package deal ;)
