I put 3K yellow HID on my fog lights to mix up with my 6K Hi/low beam..much better than having the same 6K on headlights and fog lights

JPG111,

can you post a pic of your HID's light pattern?  :)  I'm curious on how it looks.

If you really want to go on with HID on a halogen reflectors, try to find an HID bulb with glare shields. At least para mabasawan ang upper glare mo, not as much irritating to on coming traffic as when you dont have the glare shield. I prefer the 4300k.

For yellow (3000k) HIDs, do they also "look" yellow when turned off?  Yung parang eggyolk look ng mga turn signal bulbs on crystal headlamps? (You know what i'm saying?  ;))

Sabi ko nga e.  Hehehe.  Let me rephrase; are the bulbs itself color yellow even when not in use?  As in the glass tubing is tinted yellow?

i'm not so sure about HIDs pero pag super yellow or all weather yellow din bulb nila.kase sa hid yung temp naman ang basis ng color hindi yung bulb mismo

yep, 3000k hid bulb has color filters on the outer quartz capsule. it can have a slight hint of color deflections in the reflectors during day time.

3000k is just filtered 4300k cause hid technology cant produce a very low temperature color. lowest is at 4300k +/- 300-400k
