thanks for the suggestions, Accord GTR and niky!

I'm sold on getting the stock 15" wheels/tires on the Civic 1.8V. Then maybe after a year, or when the stock tires are due for replacement, I'll just upgrade to 16s.

If you wanna upgrade later on, look for used forged rims on e-bay or surplus shops.  You can save a lot.  Like, you know I bought 15x7 TE-37's with Neova's already for only P35k from Japan that were in excellent condition?  Brand new they will cost you at least P85k.  For wheels, don't buy brand new.  Just look for good deals on used wheels and have them refurbished or painted to look new again.

There is no dishonor in losing the race. There is

hello everyone, need practical advice re: keeping my 15" or getting a 16" i have a 2003 lancer mx with 195/50 series tires. it 's doesn't have a comfortable ride with our manila roads. what would be best for my car.but still retaining its sporty looks , but better fuel economy. but i am set on getting a 55 series, i really don't like the ride on my 50 series. anyway, if ever somebody suggest 15" would i get better fuel economy on a 60 series compared to a 55 series. the factory suggest 195 55 15.......thanks in advance for the advice.

Please don't type in ALL CAPS, it's the equivalent of shouting in forum etiquette.

17's for a City?!  Too heavy for a weak engine.  It'll feel like a pig and the ride will be terrible for everyday driving.  Pang showcar lang yun.  Even 16's I wouldn't recommend unless it were forged rims.  Sayang lang the economy potential of the car.

tsip, ano yung forged rims?  (tagal ko na rin di nakapag-browse sa autoindustriya ah)
