it's not really a problem with the units.siguro honda just designed them that way.was able to drive a friend's FD...didn't mind the split second delay since geared for comfort naman ata karamihan ng new units na lumalabas ngayon eh.really wasn't looking for ultra fast response kasi la naman akong ginagawang aggressive driving para kailanganin yung ganun klaseng reponse.

try resetting the ecu, remove the battery and replace it after 10 minutes and see if there's a difference.

ito ang common observation ata sa mga k-powered crv(gen2-up)... Here's what i did so far to address the issue: palit fuel filter, reset ECU, use XCS, adjust spark-plug gap to 1.1mm(ginaya ko lang sa Civic ko), DIY ng groundwires(throttle, valve-cover, tranny). Nawala ang tope/lag... Pero bumalik eh(after abt 3mos), pero di na gaya ng dati. Baka may kulang pa sa ginawa ko. Or, tlagang ganun na sia. ???

If you desire throttle response, don't buy automatic, especially for high revving small displacement engines.

tisay

use a higher octane or check your spark plugs and tune your car...
