7g galant

I have problems with my galant SS 96 model. It consumes alot of oil and smokes white. I had it checked on motorshops nearby and said that it needs a Semi-overhaul like changing the piston rings and valve seals and gasket. I had it overhauled 4 years ago because by timing belt broke. and now 4years later I have to overhaul it again. Do u think the diagnosis was right to semi overhaul it? What brand of piston rings, valve seals, gaskets do you prefer? I think I had a local brand of spare parts placed 4 years ago that's why my car is broke again.  I'm planning to buy the spare parts in an auto supply to lessen the cost instead of buying it in the same motorshop for repair. The motorshop gave me an estimate of 10k for the parts and labor to be done. Help me guys thanks!!!

Hi guys! What's a nice set of mags for the 7g Galant? Yung true to the breed baga. Yung bagay sa Galant.

I'm thinking of getting those black Rota Spoon mags or probably in gunmetal color. Sensya na ha wala kasi ako alam sa mags eh. I'm having my Galant repainted and the old mags will stick out like a sore thumb after the paint job. Baka second hand mags lang ang bilhin ko. Any suggestions?

the stock mags of the 7g galant already look good. you can opt to swap them with 17's
