ako rin eh :) i'm just interested with the proposition of putting roll cage sa auto ko. hehehe malay mo di ko na talaga sya ibenta :)

as for the 101, my wife has a 101... matic. eh gusto gawin ng erpat nya race car, i guess he's thinking of a dedicated track car. so at least if you guys push through with the 101 roll cage, i can probably start with his race car. if he's really interested, there's a 3sge in the candyshop waiting for a ride . i'll float the idea to him if ever :)

you have 3 choices..

introduce father-in-law to: tito dan, froi or panda..  :thumbsup:  :rofl:

hehe there's much more kasi than just putting in bars inside the vehicle's cabin. some may look good, but may perform poorly in the event of an accident or a rollover (hence the term "roll" cage).

master nemo, for the longest time i thought that "roll cage" is for the body roll of the car and the "roll" accident would just come second? hehehehe!!

hey dan, good question. chromoly is excellent but the problem is the post heat treatment needed after welding. heated areas from welding will become brittle and will break under stress. so it take experience and knowledge dealing with 4130. 1012 mild steel DOM seam welded tubing is sufficient, and is much cheaper than 4130. :)

hehe yeah, it can be misleading. body roll is suspension related, but rolling over is just an accident or driver error. haha

@nemo
Now I remember regarding the Post-Heat Treatment problems. Lots of thanks man.  8)
Yeah, I guess Michelle is ready this time.  ;D  Keep me posted.

@gianGT4
You'll defeat the objective of chrisboy's father-in-law if that would be the case. I just simply want to get to office on time. I'm NOT in to racing for 3 compelling reason... Time, Fund & another Car (still) to get me to office.  :-*

Honestly as we grow (hope we did), to entice seems to be a dangerous feat as our conscience is accountable if something goes wrong. Things are getting faster and it is not anymore a mere child play. I'de rather leave the prerogatives to the person himself to decide for his own sake. I trust that chrisboy knows what he is doing.  8)

My apology to be blunt but Bragging Rights will never be able to feed my family. There must be a Purpose and the Objectives I have remains consistent even up to this time and I suggest (as a brother) to continually review yours.  8)  Should I go insane one day then it is mine to keep.  ;D

what im talking about is how to tune the car..

your car, tito dan, is well.. we all know how your car is.. although your use of it is different.. far from how it is tuned/built.. :D

chef's father-in-law just wants to have a fast corolla, and yours is fast also.. so there.. :D
