Hi there!

Has anyone tried this HID brand? This is the brand I saw in an ad from sulit.com. It costs around 2k.

TIA!

its probably one of those china-made HID's. check if the seller offers warranty and how to claim it.  ;)

Ah really?super cheap naman yan.i wonder how long it will last...

czn030

May 1 year warranty naman yung HID. Problem is, di ko alam kung tatagal. The price is so cheap na baka may catch. So kung sino sana ang nakapagtry please let me know..

Thanks.

the catch? you'll have to find out if it actually lasts!  :evil5:

it's your decision.  ;)

Normally if its a new brand, I'd advise you to shy away because when its time to claim your warranty, they might not be selling it anymore.

For P2k, mukhang pwede mag gamble. Hehe. Inspect lang yung physical appearance junbg ok quality.

Thanks for the inputs. Di ko na lang siguro kukunin. Sakit din kase sa ulo kung mabilis masira at wala kang ibang gawin kundi magclaim ng warranty. Di rin kase shop yung nagbebenta kaya mahirap din magclaim ng warranty in case may problema.  :cheer:

Maybe these were imported in bulk direct from China. You'll be surprised to know there are more than 200 factories in China manufacturing HIDs and some even as subcontractors of well known brands and a set of HIDs costs around 10-15 dollars or even less.  P2k for a set of HIDs is not even cheap. They can sell these at P1,200.00 and still get big profits.   ;D

@VIVO That's something nice to know! If you will check the ad in sulit, they also do bulk orders. So it could be that this HID is using quality materials? I am really tempted to buy this. Hehe.  :fingers:

i just went to china a week ago, and bought an H.I.D hi/lo and it just cost about 1500 pesos.maybe less if i bought more than 3 sets..

Leo C.

That's about right. For a minimum order of 1,000 sets, you can get them at around P500.00 each depending on  the factory.  Then you rent a booth in the car show and sell them for P3,500 each. Hehe! Nice!

LOL ive bin using that brand of HID for 3 years now on my suzuki scrum minivan... yeah that's right minivan! the weird thing lang is yung 8000k na inorder ko parang kasing kulay lang ng 6000k ng orig and compared sa orig mas matindi tlaga yung ilaw ng orig. the good thing was di nasisita ng mga buwaya kasi nga kung itatabi mo cya sa orig eh mas masakit tlaga sa mata yung orig. ang advice sakin nung nagbbenta is kelangan lang tlaga naka relay yung linya ng headlamps mo para mas humaba buhay ng HID. sa ngayon gumagana parin cya pero yung isang bulb ko on the driver side eh pundido na yung Hi(Halogen). im not sure kung bakit nasira but till now gumagana parin HID ko, sira nga lang yung Hi beam ko sa driver side....

I have a coworker who's using Storm HID. So far no issues naman daw pero ang binili ko na lang is yung Caido brand.
"The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because generally they are the same people".

Caido, Hehe, I know the supplier and the source.  :evilgrin2: Actually, in China you can find hundreds of factories capable of manufacturing these HIDs. These products don't have brands, it's up for the buyer to put a brand name. Heck, you can place your wife's name if you want! So, in choosing these Chinese HIDs, don't mind the brand. First to do is physically check the item if it looks good (check quality of metals, wires, etc.), then ask for a warranty.
