5W50 oil on an Altis

Is it okay to use 5W50 viscosity oil on an Altis 1.6? I'm thinking of reusing our Evo's oil (Mobil 1 5W50) after I have it changed. The Evo is barely used, so I'm sure its oil is still pretty clean.

what do you guys think?

it's too thick for the altis. you should use at the very thickest a 10w40.
