Saw an ad I think on the back of a bus sometime ago. Your post got me more curious so I browsed DPReview and forum posts about it. They say that its a good P&S for its price. It sells for only $150 in the US. Still at 10,000 pesos I think its still a good package for what it offers. Its no DSLR replacement though. Just if don't have a camera and want a superzoom.

I changed my mind about the GE X5/ X500 (its successor) bridge-style digicam. I saw one upclose at Photoline, Market Market, and found it cheap and plasticky-looking. no thanks!
