We've had the Alex Yoong column since 2010. You guys haven't been navigating through the site that much I guess.

Hehe.. you can tell who the forum rats are... :p

on the side note, it looks like Red Bull's 2012 car is better suited to Webber's driving style rather than Vettel's.

Webber was using the new/current spec exhaust, which points towards the rear wheels and charges the diffuser more effectively. Vettel was using the pre-season exhaust spec, which points further upwards and charges the rear wing.

I don't know why Vettel reverted to the pre-season exhaust. Word is he was having issues with the new-spec exhaust, and couldn't make it work well.

if Red Bull and Vettel can keep their form, I think they'll pull ahead. but I'd like to see Kimi on the top step of the podium this time.

in-season testing may 1-3 at mugello. all teams present except HRT. most teams are testing updates for their cars.

alonso set the fastest time yesterday (may 1) morning but the afternoon session was halted due to bad weather. the circuit was even closed down for some time (not just red flagged) because of poor visibility. the medical helicopter cannot take off in that kind of weather hence the circuit was temporarily closed down.
