tires on our bmw 3 series needs to be replaced already, the car was bought in 2008. the stock tires are run flat tires on steel rims. i'm thinking whether to replace the tires with run flats or if i should switch to regular tires. thanks in advance for the inputs

I would assume that it doesn't come with a spare right? Since RFT is standard. You can replace with regular tires and improve the ride comfort, then just buy one of those fix-a-flat products like Motul Tyre Repair or Slime in case you get a flat in an obscure place so you can get home.

yep, there is no spare tire. yeah, i think i'll just replace them with regular tires then purchase a fix a flat.
