Preferred Engine Oil for Mitsubishi galant 83' 1.6L

Hi Everyone im just new here and i am wondering what would be the preferred engine oil for my mit-galant 1.6L 83' model  and how much would it be - ill be more than happy if anyone can suggest for a lesser price but effective pls pls pls help ..  :newbie:

shell has an 888-peso oil change.  the oil is 4 liters of mineral 20w-50 with sg api rating.  it's so cheap, you can change every 3,000-4,000 kilometers.  it's cheap to top up, too.

API SG is for 1993 and older engines. You may try that..

cheap multigrade oil like shell helix 20w50 would do.
