Good evening to all,

Just wanna ask what's the maximum bore up size of piston for a stock head of suzuki raider 150? Is it 68mm or 70mm? Do i have to port and polish the head and also do i have to mill the crank? And also, what cam stage is fitted to this bore size of 68mm or 70mm. Thanks in advance.

Leo C.

The stock piston is 62mm, you can bore up to 70mm using a Motorstar zx200 piston. You can also use a 66mm piston from a Kawasaki Barako. Matching carb for the 70 is 30mm, carb for the 66 is 28mm. Yes, you can port and polish. As to the cams, it depends on what you need... drag racing requires a different cam than high speed racing... Ask your mechanic about this...

Thanks for the info sir vivo. Another question sir, in this bore up for 68 or 70 mm, is this still fitted to the stock crank or not already?

There are many other things to be considered in modifying your r150, cams, pins, bearings, sprockets, valves, cdi, clutch, etc. The first question is your purpose... racing?.... bore up only? stroke? The market if full of racing/performance parts and these are not the most critical part of your set-up. Madaling bilhin mga to.  You have to consult an expert "performance" mechanic on this and not get bits and pieces from any forum. Your mechanic can give you the proper parts and specs for your purpose (and budget) otherwise you might end up in disaster. Isang kumpletong set-up na lang para sabay-sabay mga parts mag break-in.

Not for raing sir. Just for fun modfying my mc. Un bang maramdaman ko lang na mejo lumakas. Ung pwedeng pang-everyday use. Tsaka gusto ko sana is ung set-up na kng may tatabasin man sa makina is the port and polish thing lng. And kng ano po ung set-up ng bore. For example po, kng 65, 66, 68 or 70 na bore, anu po ung pinaka fit na setup sa bore na ito like kng anung stage ng cams ang pwede, carb, etc. etc. or pati cdi if needed, high performance exhaust.. Etc. etc.. Hehe. Thanks po.

For everyday use? I'll keep it stock. Personally, I would do,, free flow intake, tuned pipes, cdi, clutch, and other minor mods only...

What's the minor mods sir in addition to free flow intake, performance exhaust pipe, and cdi? Sa engine ba ok din ba na imodify, for example, kahit magpalit ako ng cams and valve spring but i will stay stock on my bore?

Yes, bolt-on and swap items lang... no machining, drilling, grinding... but it's really up to you...

May mairerecomend po ba kayo gud mechanic pakabit ng mga bolt on parts at patono. Ung malapit lang po banda diro marikina and san mateo area. Ty.
