hhhmm.... toying with the idea of installing adjustable cam gear. i dont think i'll be modding much though. for one to be able to really use this upgrade, what else needs to be done?

note... i am not sr71blackbird so tipid meals upgrade

Chef, if the future of the corolla is really not that clear, i suggest you hold back with the idea.

Pero if you still decide to go with it, just rember the golden rule of tuning:

"With any engine upgrade installed comes the need to compensate it with the right air/fuel ratio for it to be effective..."

Safc II will do.

Jez... Yup yup need for engine management. Hhhhhmmmmm.... But can the camgear be installed and put in stock setting until such time that engine management is available? Or better do all at one time?

Kung Exhaust Side lang ang lalagyan ay puwede naman i-set ng mga 2 degrees (retard ata) para maaga-aga ang powerband. Kung zero (eye-candy) setting, at least you shave a little weight from the engine.

Given the stock Cams, the curve is inclined to rise after 8700RPM. 

Not sure if forging (ConRods & Piston) plus the Valve Springs (of course) would be a good choice this year. The objective is to safely sustain above 9000RPM while tapping that powerband.
