Hi Guys,

Can you recommend halogen bulbs for low and high beam? Pakisama na din yun park light  :) I'm looking at the following concerns.

1. Direct drop in replacement to my stock halogen 12V 60/55. I want to maintain all stock sana.
2. Is there a brand with same 60/55 that has more light (output)? I heard Philips Xtreme Vision emits 30% more light.
3. If I choose to change to 90/100 do I need to add relays? do I need to change sockets?
4. What brands do you recommend?

I have tried whites/blues, but they seemed to be less efficient in lighting the road.  Parang maliwanag lang tingnan kaya bumalik ako sa stock yellowish halogens.  I'm not familiar with the numbers like 9004, H3, H4 and so on.  Hope to hear from you guys. Thanks!

check your car's manual to find out the bulb type you use. I recommend the Philips Extreme Vision you mentioned. (I have these on my Altis.)  they give out 100% more light than stock halogen.  ;)

if you want brighter, you'll have to go HID. but you will also need a projector retrofit if your car's headlamps don't come with projectors.

true don't get the whites and blues, they only make the light seem bright but do not do so in reality. heard lots of good feedback with the philips extreme vision from my friends.

blue-coated bulbs are meant to simulate white light and are usually more for show than function. I'm using Philips Extreme Vision on my main beam and they're very good! :D
