Hi Everyone!

I'm about to buy my first brand new car, and I have narrowed down my options between Isuzu's Crosswind XT, and Mitsubishi's Adventure GLS.

For performance, creature comforts, looks and acquisition costs, I'm ok with both. Kaya ngayon, it's all down to which car is easier/cheaper to maintain (and therefore sell in the future), and is more fuel efficient.

I'm looking at both auto journalists' reported kilometers-per-liter, and manufacturer's quoted figures for fuel consumption. Pero gusto ko sanang malaman galing sa mga ka-forum nating may first hand experience sa later models ng both adventure at crosswind. Kumusta po ang efficiency ng dalawang ito sa experience nyo?

As much as possible sana, gusto kong sa dealership ang maintenance. Ang plano ko sa ngayon ay ibenta ang sasakyan after 5 or 6 years of ownership. May experience kayo mga sir at maam kung alin mas mura i-maintain? Eg. gulong, change oil, brakes, clutch at ibang consumables? Para kasing umiiwas yung mga sales reps na magbigay ng price list ng kanilang maintenance services, at sagutin in full detail yung mga tanong ko about this.

Generally po, gagamitin ko ito for travelling from Naga to Metro Manila and back (8 -9 hours one way).

i used to have both cars. i'd go for the crosswind for being bigger in size and interior space, higher ground clearance, and lesser smoke belching. also, yung leaf springs ng adventure madaling bumagsak, after you loaded it ng mabigat, parang hindi na bumabalik completely. palagi ng bagsak.

Don't ask the sales representative, ask the service advisor.
I had done this before and the service advisor gave me the normal PMS costs and wear and tear items based on their records.

both are built on time-tested platforms and come with durable engines and suspension. maintenance cost will be more or less the same. it will really boil down to brand and personal preference.
