How can we really solve the traffic in Metro Manila?

Remove manila port?
Relocate bus terminals in the outskirts of metro?
Only BRT allowed in EDSA?
Improve MRT/LRT

any thoughts?

Sir, ideas you've mentioned are good. But I think the real problem is enforcement of Rule of Law. As long as no firm and continous implementation of such/biased exceptions, there is no end to it. IMHO.

true! a lot of drivers don't respect road rules and drive whichever they please.

Those are solid suggestions, but unless there's law enforcement for driving like punishment for breaking the law there will still be many traffic problems.

totally agree with you, they should be really strict in enforcing laws otherwise they just become mere suggestions.

I agree with the others. We really need to discipline ourselves on the road. Having to deal with rude drivers is so tiring. I have a friend whose anger issues have gotten worse due to road rage.

Lack of discipline on the road is bad both for the society and for the citizens' mental health. :(

I agree, road rage makes everything ten times worse. But some infrastructural solutions will have to be implemented too. Not sure what, but there has to be something.

Better urban planning and execution would have been nice from the start.

I agree though - better enforcement of rules can help. Seems some folks have a hard time respecting something as simple as a yellow box
