What are your thoughts on Ford Ecosport?

Hi guys, Im new here.

I am planning to buy a new car to replace my old Vios, but have a very tight budget, below 900k.

Wifey is insisting on a Ford Ecosport (Manual Trans), but I'm not sure. I like the style as well as the
ground clearance it offers, but I am having second thoughts on Preventive maintenance costs (because this is a ford car and all)

Is the Eco Sport worth it? any inputs on fuel consumption, PM costs and problems of this car  are most welcome
