Hello! Bago po ako sa car audio installation and gusto ko pong matuto nito.

Kabibili ko lang nga second hand na pioneer unit. Tape lang sya with flap face tsaka with remote control. Natanggal na yung label nya so di ko alam yung model.

My question po is about wiring the speaker. Madami po kasi syang cable sa likod tapos meron silang RCA jack.

Two of the rca says they're for FRONT OUT, another two RCA is REAR/SUBWOOFER out.

Another 2 RCA is Rear Input and the last 2 RCA is Front Input.

I guess yung 6x9 speaker ay connect ko sa REAR OUT but since dalawa RCA plug, ibig po bang sabihin, one speaker per RCA sya? Or yung dalawang RCA na yun ay parang + and - tapos series ko dalawang 6x9?

Sinubukan kung i connect yung isang RCA sa isang 6x9 speaker pero walang response. (gumamit ako ng RCA adapter para maconnect ko sya sa + and - nung speaker)

Hi. Alam ko ang ginagamit mong RCA is for an amp. But, if you're using the right RCA, malamang may tama HU mo pag d tumunog ung 6 by 9's mo. Are you from Pampanga?

Yung rca are low voltage designed for amplifiers adn other preamp devices. Kung walang speaker leadouts ang HU mo, you have to use amplifiers.

Nakalagay naman kasi sa label na naka-attach sa cable is FRONT OUTPUT and yung isa is REAR/SUBWOOFER OUTPUT. Di po sila rca na directly attached sa unit. Cables po sila na me RCA sa dulo.

Me power naman ang unit, can play tape pero wala lang tunog. Me volume naman.

Say yung Front Out (2 cable/rca) connect ko sa isang speaker, pwede kaya yon? di masisira speaker kung try ko lang? (bale 1 rca as + and the other one is -)

Cabalen!. Try mong dalhin sa Basic Audio malapit sa AUF para hindi ka ma confuse. I know maraming gumagawa ng stereo installations malapit sa inyo kaya lang I had some bad experiences sa mga installer dyan.  Anyway if your interested, see Ram.  Kabisado nya mga Pioneer HU's.

Na setup ko na sya. Thank you! Now I know how to deal with those HUs Wala kasing diagram so nag try ako combining those wires with the same color and it works!

Bumili na rin ako ng MDF board and naikabit ko na  mga 6x9s ko (Tekline) and so far okay ang output. Kahit ganito lang pala mga speaker merong lalabas na Bass dito. Halos complete na ang tunog, kulang ko na lang is front staging. Ano ba magandang brand ng tweeter na nilalagay sa dashboard?

Also, meron ka bang alam na nagre-repair ng HUs? Naglu-loose kasi ang speaker and antenna wires ng HU (KEH-8855) ko eh.

Do you know any alternative suggestion or ideas sa front staging? Boxtype SL ang car ko and wala syang speaker door sa walang lalagyan ng component speaker. Aside from putting a tweeter in the Dash, do you have any suggestions on make my front sounds better?

i have seen a boxtype lancer with speakers mounted at the front doors. kaya im sure pwede mo pabutasan yan to accomodate the speakers of the seps. hindi kasi okay kung tweeters lang ang ilalagay mo sa harap.

Thanks sir billabong, so I have no other options kung hindi butasin ang side ng pinto? Alam nyo po ba kung anong size ang kasya? Pwede kaya yung TX Series ng Targa (2-way)?

Or bili na lang ako ng separate mid bass and tweeter? Say sa dash yung tweeter tapos sa pinto ang midbass?

another option aside from putting the speakers in the door panels would be to use kick pods. these are usually mounted on the floor of the passenger and driver side of your car near the foot rest and are angled "firing" upward. these kickpods are custom made with fiberglass.

My brother installed speakers sa door dati ng Lancer box type niya. Kaya yan basta magaling gagawa. Dunno kung kasya ang Targa. Their  6" seps is actually 7". Malaki but magnet isn't too deep.  Best way to do it is mount mids sa doors then the tweets sa kickpanel.

I suggest that you save up for better seps. Nandiyan ang buhay ng SQ.  Be realistic on what you can save then dun mo i-categorize ang seps na titignan mo.

Okay thanks sir gino. Mga magkano naman kaya ang aabutin ng magandang seps? Yung hindi naman po masyadong mahal okay na po ba budget na 2000-3000 para sa seps? Anong brand?

Yes Sir Havoc, thanks. Naisip ko rin po yan. Mga magkano naman kaya presyo ng mga kick pods na yan? Theoretically, ano magandang location ng seps? door panel or kickpod?
