Modelling clay, unless the real earth type, will not harden. Isang matinding pothole, there goes the pod. What can be done is to use it as a plug so that a fiberglass outershell can be fabricated. Once, cured, dig the clay out and you have you pod. Interesting method, you can easily create custom shapes.

IMHO to get good imaging, you have to play a lot of material .. then habang nagpapatugtog ka you adjust the tweets.
