has anyone read AI's new article on Track Days?

I noticed a Nissan AdResort among one of the pictures in that article.

Does anyone know who owns that AdResort or what are its modifications?

just curious.  ::) I just think its cool.  ;D

O nga, ganda pa nang shot sa kanya

Benj

The AdResort belongs to the guru Francisco Blanco. It used to sport twin carbs before, don't know about now.
You guys should see him drift  ;D  ;D  ;D
In a world of compromise, some don't.

DTNS in school

that AdResort is owned by the guru himself?  :o

that makes that AdResort even cooler!  ;D

to those uninformed about Nissan AdResort, it is a car/ truck hybrid that runs on either a GA16 carb (tama ba ang engine code?) that makes 110hp. what gives it its potential is its RWD configuration.  ;D

Brent

FRONT WHEEL Drive po ang Nissan AD Resort FYI. It does not necessarily follow that a drift car is RWD.

BlackBlood

brent,

wow ngayon ko lang nalaman na kaya din ng fwd mag drift. actually gusto ko nga matuto paano magdrift eh. sino kaya ang kaya magturo?

nagulat nga ako na may pick up na kasama eh hehe

the ad resort is stock, except for bigger wheels and tires.

it USED to have a trick engine, suspension and exhaust system, featuring carbs from a big bike i believe.

but that engine went kablooey at Subic last year.

i was in the car for a few laps at the track day.  Was fun.  like an amusement park ride when it started drifting.  good fun  ;D

francisco drifts with the e-brake. you can even see him driving with the rear wheels not turning at all.

Mutie

moonbreaker: yup, medyo nga. tried doing 2 of the drifts na inexplain dun, yung feint drift and e-brake drift. yung feint drift mas madaling i control pero yung e-brake mahirap. and i dont recommend doing it on our public roads, mas maganda sana sa track nga. bka sa next track day sali ako para mapractice ko yung drift sa track talaga. drifting really gets your adrenaline pumping.
