Help with Accord CD Changer

Guys, i'm having problems with my orig CD player in the 95 accord/ its an alpine 6CD changer. the player chooses discs to play. i tried all original CD's already and some songs play and some songs dont. some CDs dont even play at all. a shop told me that cleaning will solve the problem but i already used a CD lens cleaner and the problem persists. is cleaning recommended, and what else do they clean besides the lens?

baka may problema na sa alignment. i suggest pa-check mo sa philsales. sa banawe yan located, look for wilson lim. o kaya try to bring it to an alpine service center.

mmm, just an opinion, ah your cd changer is already 8 yrs old, dont u think its time to retire your alpine and get a new one, baka kahit magawa nyo yan, give it some time, iba naman ang bibigay

you might need to have the lens cleaned (not just by a cd cleaner) then aligned.  i had this done to an alpine CD changer of mine that came with my '95 car a few years back na.

take billabong's advice and have it checked by wilson lim of philsales.  he can fix it right in front of you.  just make sure to have it removed from the car, coz he won't do it for you.  you can reach him at (02) 712-0075.

you might also want to think about what neil said.  if you plan on keeping the car for some time, why not upgrade your components with newer ones.  after all, it's an 8 year car with 8 year old components already.

thanks guys, anyway, its a company car that was assigned to me since last May. the problem occurred only last december-january. if i had to change it then it would be under my own account.

ah i see.  well, bring it to philsales in banawe na lang.  wilson should be able to solve your problem.

well i had the same problem before sa changer ng corona ko dati. ang ginawa ko pinalitan ko na lang ng indash changer na pioneer. i never regretted the decision. kung kailangan mo naman isoli yung car, eh di patanggal mo na lang yung hu mo
