sir,
usually, mga magkano inaabot na budget ng sound setup? un pwede na isali sa mga audio competition?

It varies eh. Some installs get the trophy at only PHP 50,000, while some get it at 80,000.

Depende din kasi yan sa category/power class na gusto mong salihan. Mas mababang power class, siyempre mas mura ang aabutin ng install.

Let's just say 80,000 average, primera-klase ng mga gamit iyon.

Just like I said, depende sa power class/category na sasalihan.

hi sir,

just wanna ask how much wud it cost me to have my audio setup. i got a new toyota vios 1.3.

what i like is a simple setup lang, not for competition or
yung bumabayo pa cuz am a girl naman. i don't really need that. basta sana mapaganda lang yung audio ng car ko.

let's say i dont want to get a new headunit. my car has an indash alpine stereo (stock). so what do i need to purchase pa? and how much money should i allot for this?

1. How much are you willing to spend
2. does your headunit have CD or changer

setup ranges from 20,000 to 45,000 in my opinion to have a quality sound system..
tnx :)

How do u determine your power class?
let say u have an Amp that is rated at 300watts rms @4 ohms, pero your running it at 1ohm wich produces 1200watts rms,
and i have a seps running at 100watts RMS x 4 ch bi amp tweeter and midbass
sa what category im i in?

Raymond

AFAIK for EMMA and IASCA, the RMS rating of your amps will be summed up to determine your power class.

For example, your system consists of:

1.) JL Audio 300/2 for seps. (150w x 2 at 4 ohms)
2.) JL Audio 500/1 for sub (500w X 1 at 4 ohms).

Summing the output of the two amps will reveal that you have 800w of power.

I don't know the latest categories, but these are the categories that I've been accustomed to since the late nineties:

1.) 1-150 watts
2.) 151-300 watts
3.) 301-600 watts
4.) 601+ watts

Novice, Amateur, Pro.

Given the above example sa #4 cat. ka babagsak.
