Monster Hoods

With the consistent pour of water from the sky, wala bang issues ang monster hood when it comes to engine wear and tear?

I mean its obvious that you should be using a regular hood with this rainy weather we're all having now, but how about those who uses the hood in the rain everyday? Di kaya may chance na mabulok yung mga parts sa radiator and all other parts near it when water rushes in the bay while the car is moving?

Anyone with experience? Im thinking of purchasing one, but im really concern how the drainage of those things works.

By the way aside from the civic, there are some cars that has the alternator in the front too (near the headers) Now thats a prob. :(
