Brake problems

Hi Guys,

 I'm having problems with my brakes.. it seems to be weak. I can notice the difference co'z when I step on the brake pedals deeper than before and It doesn't give that brake power before I had my pads and rotors replaced last 2 months ago, also replaced the brake booster.

I'd like to know where can i have my car checked for this kind of problem.  My car is a Volkswagen Polo Classic.

i had a prob like yours before, check mo un lining , try to clean it, and also chek kung meron leaks sa lining it self at sa reservoir ng brake, kc, ganyan din prob ko nun, ala prob lahat pero na mis ko i chek un lagayan mismo, andun pla un leak kaya pala lagi basa un area na un.

Pwede rin hindi siya na-bleed ng maayos nung pinalitan yung brake parts mo.

Flush out ka ng lumang brake fluid tapos palit ka ng bago, then pa-bleed mo ng maayos.

its either your brake lines and brake master have leak, or your brakes were not properly bled.

Hey guys,  

  Follow up question lang.. i checked it for leaks, mukhang wala naman... pero  I noticed that the pads are too near sa disc.. parang nakadikit na sya sa disc (brakes are not applied).  Is that normal?

it's time to replace your front brake pads...  after market pads are much cheaper than the OEM ones...  the squeeking noise you're hearing is a warning that your pads needs to be replaced.

It happened to me once, and ignored it..... and what happened?......the rivets in the disk pads grinded to the rotors.... big repair bills...

Then I suggest you replace it immediately to avoid costly repairs

Talking about brake lining, diba may warning device yan? kasi yun orgi lining ko before may naging unusual sound kapag push ko yung brakes,, nung check ko paubos na yung lining nya di ba common ito sa lahat ng cars?

Yes pero minsan pag hindi ka sensitive sa car mo, di mo yan mapapansin.

Kakapalit mo lang ba ng brake pads? If yes, then there might be a problem with the brake masters. Baka nung pinalitan yung pads hindi nabalik ng maayos yung calipers, or if not, maybe the wrong pads were used.

If matagal na yung pads, you should check if the low lining indicator (usually a small piece of steel riveted in the brake pad base) if it is very very near the rotors. If this is the case, you should change your pads immediately, or else, your rotors will be damaged.

Check out the brake booster also. Maybe there are some installation problems made. I experienced having problems with the brake boosters of my truck na minsan ang lalim ng apak ko pag braking. Let the shop where you had your brake booster changed have a look at it again.

baka hindi na bleed properly or may air kaya cguro ganun

try stepping on your brakes while parked, push
halfway, hold it steady and see kung dahan dahan lumulubog, pag ganun you need a master repair kit.. test also pag sumasadsad ang front mo sobra pag brake mo baka wala ng tulong sa likod. ung squeeking dalawa ang cause either manipis na ang pads or ung mga spacer ng pads ang may problema.

if all this fails pa bleed mo ulit lahat and flush the
brake fluid. btw, this assumes walang sira ang caliper.
baka di na mashado maganda ang tulak.
