detailing sexperts  ;D need help

i understand pag new yun car, you only need to seal the paint.

question: anong magandang sealant. im thinking of meguiars paint sealant.

question2: pwede bang iapply sya by hand? or is it better to apply with an orbital machinery. may nakita kase ako black and decker na orbital machine(sorry di ko alam exact term) mga 4k sya sa ace hardware.

question3: pag na-seal mo na, wax na lang every week noh? after every car wash?

question4:when should i apply the sealant again?

thanks  ;D

q1: if your planning to buy locally try out eagle one or geki sealant... if your planning to buy from the inet or abroad try Zaino it's the best sealant now or klasse

q2: you need to apply this by hand.. you dont need orbital cuz mas maaksaya lang ito.. parang pinapahid lang ang sealant like wax.. mas konti pa nga eh...

q3: some sealants hindi pwede haluan ng wax.. like Zaino mas mawawala ang bond ng sealant if may wax on top of it.. Yun iba pwede.. wax it every one week pag dark color, 2 to 3 weeks pag light color

q4:you can apply sealant every week if you want to.. i apply every week the more coating the more protection it gives and yun appearace mas ok.. but you will reach a point na marginal na lang yun difference sa apperance.. but if your not a sealant fanatic, a sealant can give you atleast 3 months of protection so you can apply it every 3 months or so...

a ok. thanks. i did'nt know that...

mas effective ba ang sealant sa pag protect ng paint vs sa wax?

does it also have the properties ng wax like glossyness, makinis sya at water beading?

di pa kase ako nakakagamit ng sealant. puro wax lang ako.

pag apply ba ng sealant wala ng ibang ipapahind noh? like other detialing stuff? punas na lang to bring out the shine?

Yes, a resounding yes.

Quotedoes it also have the properties ng wax like

Yes on all counts, but most sealants sheet instead of bead.

Kinda, but curing time and drying time varies greatly from product to product.

last question guys...

wala nang "3 steps" pag new car right? so when i get it from the dealer ... and if i decide to wash it... bale

1. car wash
2. let it dry
3. apply na agad ng sealant - then buff na lang

no more  polishing, surface prep, protecting, and maintenance?

simple wash and apply na lang ng sealant right?

thanks

sealing the car is protectiong it na
to make it sure iclay mo na lang... mamaya may mga dumi pa siya and overspray..
pero for brand new cars wala naman talaga dapat, malinis na talaga.. so it's safe to seal the car na when you get it so that the car will have protection...

tip, just use a terry cotton towel or microfibel towel to buff it off.. mabilis naman siya tangaalin eh pero depende sa brand na gagamitin mo....

goodluck :), you can look at my pbase.. meron dun mga sealant pics... meron rin beeding ng Zaino.. sobrang liit ganda tignan

kailan pwedeng i-seal pag bagong paint ang car? 1 month/ 2 months/ 3months after painting
Do not follow where the path might lead....
....Go where there is no path and leave a TRAIL!

ako i waited for a month pa... i can't wait na kasi because my new paint keep on etching and mabilis magkawater marks eh...
pero wala naman mawawala if you can wait pa till after 2 months para mas sure...

well, with new cars, they're not particularly "new" so to speak, you have to understand that from the time it exits the manufacturing line, the car will sit on the factory lot a month or so before it's shipped to the dealer, then from the dealer, it sits even longer before you, the buyer, actually touches the car, during that time, the car just sits under the sun, rain, acid rain, fallout, etc etc etc.

Most brand new cars that we detail contains a lot of grime, overspray and other gunk on the paint and glass.. Rarely have we had a brand new car that doesn't leave a lot of dirt on our clay bars...

The least you should do is to clay the car before sealing.

Guys, please recommend locally available cheap sealants.  One that we can top off with Megs #26 or mothers / eagle 1 carnauba wax.

sealants...
eagle one and geki...

Guys,

FYI lang-The best wax to use on a new car varies with the type of car you are buying, the environmental conditions in your area and the amount of time you are willing to invest in waxing each year. Any new car will require a non-abrasive wax that is safe for newer paints.  ;)
