For me performs very well in every aspect, although a little bit short on safety features (no airbag). Available locally in 4x2 guise only.

And it's old if I may add, although a new one is not on it's way.

Personally just 20" mags, dark tint, HID's, and that's it :)

For me bling looks cool on the white and black-colored Troopers.

The Trooper is a machine that throws you back to 1992.  Not that there's anything bad about it.  I even kinda like the feeling of riding in a time capsule when I'm in a Trooper.

Too bad Isuzu killed the Trooper and replaced it with a dorky, rebadged GM Trailblazer called the Ascender (the Trailblazer blazes no new trail, so I have to wonder what the Ascender will ascend to).

There is no point going to an off-road set-up on a Trooper since its 4x2.  A sporty direction is the only way to go.  Big rim's, monochromatic paint scheme, blacke-out (or clear) windows, and some other stuff.

Build quality and after sales service is far from stellar, though.  So don't say we didn't warn you.

For me, the '05 Trooper looks like its predecesor. Not much difference. Although the lines look good, they are a bit old for me. Going with a white or black colored Trooper is the way to go. Big rims and tires to boot will be the best and thats that. Simple yet elegant. One thing about Isuzu service, its not bad but it wont be like any car manufacturer service that you might be used to. Vehicle will be received and taken into the service area. During service, you may stay at the waiting area or, unlike other service centers, go up to your vehicle and have a little chit-chat with the service personell doing your vehicle. In Isuzu Makati, you even have to get your own vehicle that is parked somewhere in the service area after you pay the cashier. You drive it up to the exit(which is blocked by a rope) and you just sign the small paper before you drive off.

you should consider another ride, grabe kabwisit ang service ng isuzu inteco QA, magaantay ka na ng matagal tapos halos wala naayos dun sa ride ko. 5 hours wait bago nasalang tapos 30 mins. lang ginawa for the 55t km. check up? bastos pa mga tauhan dun including the service supervisor nila. and when they return my ride sobra dumi ng interior, kabadtrip talaga. im thinking of selling my isuzu na lang. isuzu inteco is the worst! sayang ang pera. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Merely 4x2...  Lots of bling for the money...  Not really that much utility for the money...  160hp common-rail diesel is comparatively powerful...  Various injector and turbo problems with some units...  P13,000 per injector...

AFAIK it is the same as with the Chevy Trailblazer.
