what are the basic steps in lowering your car?
what parts need to be replaced?
pros and cons of lowered car?

PLs help me on these... im planning to lower my car.. TIA

Lowered car tend to ride rougher than stock.

It looks better and corners faster but with our roads and driveways here, you could end up going slower than others because of ground clearance issues.  I've seen punctured oil pans, gas tanks and damaged exhaust systems due to too much lowering.

For handling, I'd recommend adding thicker sway bars and Bilstein shocks as well as better tires.  For local roads, you need to keep the stock ground clearance.

@the driver, im planning to do it with my 96 corolla, im currently using 15's im planning to change it to 16 or 17.
