Hi monts and liz!

Thanks for the warm and welcoming hospitality, and as always, the great spread at the last eating este meeting at your place!

Super sarap the food - breaded porkchops and Japanese fried rice!  I gained 5 pounds just looking at the buffet!  The lemonade with apple bits was so good that Chard, Beetsney and Kasmot had to request a bottle of Absolut to chug down with it as the meeting progressed ;D  along with the Wasabe chips pulutan!  I raided the choco bowl and indulged as Mon, Murit, Calvo, Putik, G, Sambo and the rest of the gang went on busily "filling up the corners" as Tolkien's hobbits would say :) or blowing smoke rings outside ala Gandalf!

There's no meeting
like a MORI eating
coz a MORI mmmeating
don't stop!

Tuffth Thrukk Na!!!!

The country's best off-roaders and the most competitive monster 4x4 trucks take center stage in the biggest motorsports spectacle dubbed as the 2006 Philippine Tough Truck Challenge set Nov. 25-26, at the Frontera Verde, Tiendesitas, Ortigas corner C5 Avenue in Pasig.

Now on it's sixth year, the national event, organized by the Manila Off-Roaders Inc (MORI) under its president Peter Nolasco, is expected to lure a bigger field of off-road drivers coming from Baguio and the Ilocos Region from up north to Cagayan de Oro, General Santos and Davao down south.

It will also serve as the championship round of the National Off-Road Series that has toured Baguio, Dipolog and Dumaguete under the auspices of the National Association of Filipino Off-Roaders (NAsFOR) headed by Brian Diaz.

The 2006 Philippine Tough Truck Challenge promises to be more exciting as spectators will witness the art, strategy and determination of competing drivers to pull through demanding obstacles like V-canals, off-camber obstacles, log crosses, rock crawling, tabletops and many more challenging hurdles required to complete the highly-technical course.

"The tradition lives on, and on our sixth year, we promise a more challenging course that will surely raise the level of competition and leave our drivers and spectators as well with an overwhelming feeling of satisfaction," said Nolasco on the event backed up by Frontera Verde, the Department of Tourism, Du Pont and Malayan Insurance.
