Hi vr-force...,.

Ive always wanted a twin turbo engined car, i currently own an 8g ss manual tranny, and i have a lot of questions.

1. I im goin to swap my stock engine with a twin turbo what parts does follow? how much would be the estimated damages do i have to prepare?

2. Is it better if i sell my current local galant and then look for local/import thats already twin turbo with manual tranny? i mean how much would it cost me? i hear you guys get those twin turbo engines from japan cars and import them with a couple of major parts like transmission, gas tank, etc..So is it logical just to import the whole stock twin turbo car? is it left hand driven?

i hope you guys can suggest and clear things out for me..y apologies for the ignorance and thank you guys in advance.

Hi Edge,

Changing your stock engine to a twin turbo engine will require great efforts and responsibility not to mention the cost of it. You will need to change your engine, cooling system/internals wirings brakes gauges etc. If I am not mistake, the cost would be roughly around 180k to 230k.

You may want to get a car that already has turbo in it. it's less maintenance and that car is already built for turbo.

Just my 2 cent of it.
