Good day to all. I'm new here in AI and also a newbie when it comes to car maintenance. I will be buying a 1982 Mitsubishi Lancer (boxtype) this weekend, I would just like to know some tips on what to look for, what to test, and what questions to ask regarding the car. Thanks and God bless.  :)

Good Morning Happy Papi,

I'd like to know if you were able to buy the Box Type that you were referring to in this post.

Thank you.

The lancer is a nice car. It does come in automatic transmission with the cvt, or a 5 sp. manual. The car is not that good in the snow, but it isnt going to fishtail either due to FWD.

Pros: good on gas, well built, warranty, looks, price

Cons: power

My son's boxtype has a Continuously Vibrating Transmission  (CVT) ....
and might be a Four Wheeled Disaster (FWD) soon...
