2012 car engine overhaul daw agad?

lady driver here..,
yung asawa ko ang nagmemaintain ng car but he is in another country, forgive me if i dont know some car terms

we have toyota avanza 2012 automatic
ok naman ang maintenance on time.
last was april 2015 napalitan na lahat.
we were told pag 37k na patune up, change oil na daw kami.
nasa 35600k nako actually next week punta nasana ako para sa maintenance.

now kanina lang umuulan,
nasa parking lot kami, nakaPark ang transmission.
open ang aircon, nakakabit ang fon ko sa radio
ng biglang nanginig ng sobra yung sasakyan na halos mamatayan na
then sa likod ko sobrang daming puting usok.

hindi ako nabaha..

nagpatow na ako kasi ayaw ko abutan sa daan ng sira.
dinala kami sa pinakamalapit sa bahay na talyer

3. sabi ni mekaniko. nagengine overheat daw ako. (wala naman warning sa gauge ko) at may tubig naman yung lalagyan ng tubig (i dont know what you call it)
4. naghalo daw ang water at oil
5. need daw ng overhaul.
6. 14500pesos daw.

inuwi ko muna sa bahay yung sasakyan.
mga guys, mga sir.. any advise po? bago ako magpaoverhaul?
overhaul?? ang sakit naman non?

by the way,
yung kapitbahay kasi namin, madami daga yung bodega nila
pag umaalis ako sa gabi
may mga daga lumalabas sa makina ng koche
feel ko ito ang rason ng pagkasira ng makina?

what to do? help po asap?

Better get another opinion from the casa or other shops. Also check your engine harness, all those engine shaking might be a cause of some wires being eaten by the rats and the computer cannot have a good data thus causing the rattles, worse scenario is that you will replace your engine harness, ouch! If this is the case, the casa will not repair the harness but will recommend a full replacement which is costly but safe. On the other hand, a good shop can do the repair to the harness, problem is if the computer needs to be re-programmed due to this issue. If the car is under warranty, there will be issues if you will only repair the harness, the dealer might cut the warranty for the engine.

Find someone who can look into the Dip Stick and check/ validate the condition of Engine Oil for you.




A café mocha oil color denotes a toasted/ cracked Cylinder Head Gasket that requires replacement. The engine looses that needed lubrication once oil mixed with water. Engine may require an overhaul depending on what components were affected.
