Has the water levels risen again?

Wolf-
kaya parin naman ng mga naka AT tires ang mga pupuntahan diba? yun ang main concern kasi sa tsikot.com eh, daming gusto sumama pero naka AT tires sila... kaya ba?

Wolf,

Don't scare them too much or else people will back out.  I'm sure everyone including the Tsikot boys will find it a walk in the park. ;)

Believe me, if people get in a tight enough spot, they have no choice but to become more resourceful.  I've learned this by trailing with Dale. :)

Many stock vehicles are more capable than people think.

It's better to try and get stuck than to not try at all.

 Wolf,

I will not crossed river because my pajero can't, its because all my doors has speakers on the lower side and has two ampli and a sub that may be wet and damage if water start coming inside. For me offroading is not wasting my investment, there should be a balance somehow.

According to Wolverine we will be crossing streams with water from 6 inch to 1 foot deep, even 1.5 ft. foot is fine with me. I have nothing to prove in crossing rivers which will ruin my daily driven vehicle.  I'm coming because I enjoyed being with people who loves some adventure and see how good our country is.

Please confirm if the river crossings is really deep and how approximately deep .... so people coming will not be disapointed.  I don't want to see  first timers coming over and at the end of the day at the back of their mind...I should have not come here in the first place.  The interest to the sport will slowly  dwindle.

I myself did not crossed the river in tanay before, but it did not STOP ME IN GOING TO AURORA with A.I.ORG. And I enjoyed Aurora trip that is why I keep on passing the CD to all my friends for them to see the our adventures.

To Tsikot.com members... I went to Aurora  with an All Terrain Tires... has crossed rivers...wide rivers...and has trailed unimaginable path with very SHARP ROCKS AND BOULDERS.... but not too successful in the mud... but had  tried my best... nothing was lost or damaged.....I went there with a Jeep. It was one hell of an experience
with men who love the sport.
" Each day we either get better or worse.
The choice is OURS ! "

Ungas

From the tsikot peeps,

Vehicle count: 6-1/2 (2 vehicles are still undecided as of post)

People count: 9-1/2 (based form the undecided vehicles)

As for the river crossings, we could still manage to cross even if its 3/4 of the tire deep. Encouragements will overcome fear factors here.  ;)

I was just wondering if its possible to air down our tires before the trails? Do we need to air down?

wolf den

Remeber that a stock all terrain tire is at most 30 inches in diameter (tire height) on stock vehicles. Thats  taller than your Knees  people!!!!! if your  worried about water, no need to worry. you can drive thru deeper water than that with out water getting in your car as long as you maintain forward motion.  RVT..... my "Lone wolf" same with "Big Bad Wolf" has the same stereo set up and location of speakers (POLK AUDIO pa...) with  the amp on the floor NO PROBLEM. This is precisely the reason why we are putting up a Driving School, If you know what you are doing instead of just charging into the unknown it will make your 4x4 trip a lot more fun and enjoyable.  8) So dont worry the Trail Masters wont feed you new guys to the "wolves" (figure of speech) Wolverine and Freeman are very competent Trail Masters un like some one Jhon Q and i know Bwahahaha... I quite sure that those 2 will make competent 4x4 adventurers out of you all after this ride.

Wolf,

I think Laiban would be a good trail for beginners. :)  I'd take them there if I were you. :)

Guys,

Let's just go and do it!

Really all boils down to to trusting our leads (Wolverine and Wolf in this case), our vehicles and ourselves.

Anyways, we will all be there ready to help each other out. Please don't forget the bare necessities Wolverine previously listed.

Let's have a good time.

A/T tires can handle the trails.....common guys let us give our 4 X 4 some minor beatings..... imagine a SUV used for humps and minor potholes in the metropolis, sayang naman.... let us enjoy the trail on sunday.......

This is just a beginning....see the thread on Abra....
