just installed the xp on the passenger side headlight to compare the difference, it is a little brighter compared to stock but im still hard pressed to tell the difference, i guess this must have been caused by my windshield which is fully tinted in smoked black.

The Nightbreaker is a standard 60/55w globe, plug and play.

But due to the blue tint i'm am not very much attracted to it.

I'm not a fan of globes using blue tint to make the output whiter. So yes i'd go xp. I'm using it:)

Haven't tried the XP's yet, just the NB's compared to a 100/80w stock colored Osram. Haven't been able to compare the NB's to 60/55w stock colored Osrams.

I think the light hint of blue on the NB is what makes you think it's much brighter than it really is, coz it's much whiter than it really is. It may be a bit stronger than the stock 60/55w bulbs, but not enough to directly rival the 100/80w stock colored Osram. When I compared them side by side on a Vios against a wall and in a dark parking lot, the 100/80w bulb, thanks to its power advantage and perhaps hue as well, came out brighter, at least to my eyes.

Anyhow, if you'd like to try it for yourself, and/or if you find it brighter and want to purchase it, I got to test at Autostar along Malugay St in Makati.

i put an h4 Silverstar on my left headlamp and a nightbreaker on my right.
been like that for a week or so. still can't notice the difference. well, there is but it's hardly noticeable.
and silverstars are half the price of the nightbreakers. i wonder if i would switch to XP will i notice a difference. i want brighter lights because my h4 casings and not like the reflectorized ones that shines so bright with oem bulbs
The real question is.. when you turn your car on, does it return the favor?

the Philips XP has the same color as stock. if you want to see the difference, install XP on one headlamp and leave the other headlamp on stock bulbs.  ;)

guys!
i have both the xp and nb, xp hands down... ung nb brighter lang tignan pero when you are driving na, xp has a better light output. both i use are h4, i have to use my fog light for the nb, but ung xp sufficient na, pero light tint lang ung sa windshield ko, pero kung gusto mo talaga ng super liwanag, higher wattage talaga katapat dyan...
